Beware of Fake NYSC Advertisements

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) management has issued a stern warning to members of the public regarding the activities of unscrupulous individuals impersonating the NYSC through fraudulent means on the internet. These individuals aim to deceive and defraud unsuspecting students, prospective Corps members, parents, guardians, Corps employers, and Corps members by charging fees for services that the NYSC offers for free.

It is crucial to note that all services related to the NYSC, such as deployment, kit issuance during orientation camp, accommodation, feeding, posting, and relocation, are provided at no cost to Corps members. The public is strongly advised to exercise caution and avoid falling prey to the schemes of these fraudsters.

If you require clarification on any issue concerning the NYSC, you are encouraged to visit your nearest NYSC State Secretariat or other official formations across the country. Moreover, up-to-date information on the programs and activities of the NYSC is readily available on their official social media platforms, registration portal, and website. These channels can help you verify the authenticity of any NYSC-related information:

  • Facebook: OFFICIALNYSC
  • Twitter and Instagram: OFFICIALNYSCNG
  • YouTube: NYSCDHQ
  • Registration Portal: WWW.NYSC.GOV.NG
  • Website: WWW.NYSC.ORG

The NYSC management has declared that, from now on, any individual or group found advertising unauthorized content related to NYSC policies on social media will face the full force of the law. Stay informed, verify information from official sources, and protect yourself from fraudulent activities.
